    Default Surgery Done 06/30/2020

    Hello

I just had the gastric sleeve surgery a week ago tomorrow in Westchester Medical Center 4N. Dr. Kaul was my surgeon. I live In NY. Weird not eating anything solid. I could murder a bite of a meatball but I’m going to sip more Low sodium beef broth.

I want to take this opportunity to succeed at ridding myself of my fat suit once and for all. I’ve just begun to feel better from the actual surgical procedure and even feel like I have energy and a positive (almost) outlook and I’m ready to learn how to loose the most weight I can. Any tips welcome.

    Best, Judy

Outstanding. Congratulations on taking a big step for your future. In just a few days or weeks you will feel better and better. Follow the advice of your surgeon to the letter. Follow the nutrition guideline as you progress from liquids to soft foods and then to solids. It won't be long. I am like many here that tried every diet with success only to be disappointed time and again. Now 2 and 1/2 years later I am at my goal weight and am maintaining. I lost nearly 100 lbs and feel great. Keep us posted. This is a great resource with many folks with great ideas. Many success stories. Good job. Keep fighting.

How exciting - you are on your way to a healthy new way of eating and living.
Just follow your surgeons instructions and you will do just fine.
Sip water all the time and walk as often and as far as you feel that you can- increase the time/distance a little each day.

You're certainly in the best frame of mind! And when you get so you have that bite of meatball, you'll find that's enough!
It's a wonderful journey and you've joined a terrific group of supporters.
