    Default Getting There

I am getting there and close to my initial goal weight. I keep fighting the same few pounds and I have been exercising quite a bit. I would like to be lower than my initial goal weight but we will see. I am trying to make myself stay off the scale every day as it can be disheartening. I even know that I am not reasonable but I can't help myself. I am in so much better of a place and just trying to get into a routine of exercise and not be obsessed with the scale. Hope everyone is doing well.

My husband gets sick of my whining about slight ups and downs and we compromised. He gets to hide my scale and get it out every Saturday. Works.

I do weigh every day, but its not as disturbing as it once was -- I think if we hid it (along with the 1,000s of other things we can't find) the scale would be gone!
    [I]HW: 240 lbs SW: 199 lbs GW: 140 lbs

    1 MO = 167.0 2 MO = 156.4 3 MO = 148.4 4 MO = 140.6
    5 M) = 136.0 6 MO = 130.0
    1 YR = 122.0 2 YR = 140.00 2.5 YR = 139
Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!

In the last year or so I've been weighing myself more often. Last year it was every day. It really helps me to stay on track if I know what that number is. Now, I say that I weight myself 2-3 times a week. Weighing often has shown me that how much you weigh changes literally every day and not to become so obsessed with "the number."

I weigh every day but if you do that you have to be ok with the natural fluctuations that can occur. It's the unnatural fluctuations that you need to take a closer look at :-)
I have a weight that I like to be, a weight that I'm ok with and a weight that alerts me to the fact that I need to be more mindful of what I'm eating.
It works for me but might not work for everyone.

I am actually a little lower than my goal weight. I dropped quite a bit below but then my body found it's happy place and I put a little back on again.
Keep doing what you are doing and I'm sure you will get to where you are happy. The loss certainly slows down the further out from surgery you are.

Great job with your weight loss. You did a fantastic job. Remember even though that last pound or two is not gone yet you are still getting stronger. You will lose it eventually.. You should be proud of yourself.
