    Default Any Cauliflower Pizza Tips?

    I made one today.

I found it to be a "slider" inducing toad froth. Taste wasn't bad (used Green Giant crust), but sort of soggy (I like thin crispy things).

So I could back off the sauce a bit, but at 17 min cooking per instructions it wasn't a success.

    Any tips?

Ha ha ha....pretty much what I decided. We are that generation that doesn't throw stuff out, we eat leftovers. The great dread of cauliflower pizza again was pretty overwhelming.....

Not sure what recipe you followed but some say to wring the grated cauliflower out with cheese cloth and others do not. I find that wringing it out gives it a more firm dry crust so maybe that could help you out.

Hmm...have seen recipes for these but never been tempted. Perhaps you could repurpose the remaining crusts into something else?

I once ate cauliflower pizza and was shocked at how much I liked it. My grandmother tried a new recipe on Youtube (she likes to experiment with all kinds of desserts and she likes dough). The pizza crust melted in my mouth, such a taste I can't express with the words. I asked her the secret of such crispy crust, that was pizza steel. Yep, as it's thinner as it's the best. You should read some reviews on this utensil to convince yourself https://www.thewindupspace.com/best-...steel-reviews/

I'm sorry to hear that your pizza didn't turn out as you had hoped. Here are a few tips that may help you achieve a better result:

    1. Preheat your oven: Preheating your oven to the specified temperature for at least 10-15 minutes before cooking can help ensure that your pizza cooks evenly. This tip will work for all meals made with dough: buttery British scones recipe, biscuits, cakes, cookies, dumplings, flatbreads, noodles, pasta, pastry, pizza, and pie crusts.

    2. Use a pizza stone or baking sheet: Using a pizza stone or baking sheet can help your pizza cook more evenly and crisp up the crust. Make sure to preheat your pizza stone or baking sheet along with your oven.

    3. Adjust the cooking time: Depending on your oven and the thickness of your crust, you may need to adjust the cooking time. You can try cooking your pizza for a shorter or longer time to achieve the desired level of crispiness.

    4. Use less sauce: As you mentioned, using less sauce can help prevent your pizza from becoming too soggy. You can also try draining any excess liquid from your toppings before adding them to the pizza.

    5. Experiment with different crusts: If you prefer thin and crispy crusts, you can experiment with different crusts, such as a homemade cauliflower crust or a thin pre-made crust.
