Default Longest stall, feel like crying

I am nearly 8 months post op and I haven’t loose any weight last month. I feel so discouraged I don’t know what to do. It seems like whatever I do doesn’t work. I tried everything, I am usually at 1000 calories a day, I tried going down to 700 calories but it makes no difference. I thought calorie deficit was supposed to make you loose weight? I eat mainly protein with some non starchy vegetables like peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, Avocados occasionally berries. I don’t think I can eat better than this to be honest, which makes me feel desperate as not much else I can do. I play tennis two times a week.
I lost 29kg so far but still 12 kg to go to reach my goal. I am so afraid my body is done loosing already. Can this be the case? Did anyone else experience a month long stall at this stage? Any advice please?

There are so many factors that we don't know about. The main thing is that you have lost a significant amount of weight already. Is this a stall, or is this where your body is comfortable? I'm not sure. Was your goal weight set by your bariatric team? I would say, even though it is hard, don't be discouraged. Keep doing what you're doing. Eat your protein first, then veggies if you have room. If you are working out a lot, you may have to eat a little more. Above all else, just stay focused and congratulate yourself on the weight that you have lost.

Bless your heart - its' hard when you feel like you should be losing.

Bodies like equilibrium and take their own time. Keep doing what you know is right. It will work.

And make sure you're getting enough sleep and get enough water.

I had many many stalls especially the second year. It took me 2 years to reach my doc's goal. The reality is that only nutrition is not the key, you need to move more. That's what worked for me. Nothing crazy, but power walks can do wonder when I'm stuck.
Don't lose hope, just change your routine.

And also I would add that the most important is to look at your body composition, not just your scale. Muscle is much heavier, you can lose sizes and no weiht, that does count as a win!
    Good luck!

Sounds like you're eating well. Maybe not enough? Added exercise?

Try not to be discouraged, sometimes it's just your body is in shock. It's frustrating when you know you are doing well to stall. Eating like you do you will start to lose again.
