My insurance requires 6 Monthlyy visits w nutritionist. I have had 2 so far. My next is May 21.
# 6 will put me at the end of August.
So far, so good.
I am actually relieved to put an end to this madness (over eating)
I have been doing well with eating less and losing weight.
Been making a few modifications every few weeks/month from a long list..(eat slower, not sit in front of computer, chew 20 times etc etc)
No fried foods.
Everything has been easy and I actually welcome the changes.
HOWEVER !
The one thing I think I will have a hard time with is NO SODA!
I am diet coke junkie.
Also, I love straws!
I *could* do ice tea, but still love fountain drinks...the straws. I am an ex-smoker and love sucking on the straw!
I am giving up fried foods, sweets and most carbs for 6 months and large portions for the rest of my life...
But I just am having a hard time thinking about a life without a soda? EVER?
and NO STRAW?
Now, I am not asking for license to break the rules...but was this an issue for anyone else?
Did anyone else have soda?
what happened? does it stretcher the stomach? why no carbonation? why no straw?
she said air bubbles...I don't understand...
I don't drink beer or wine, NO coffee, have gone cold turkey on cigs (hello 200 lb weight gain!) and will be modifying portions (how) and foods (what) I eat...
now my soda and even straws??
I must admit of all things this is making me worried...
