    Default I've fallen off trak

I was sleeved 10 months ago, and was doing okay up until about a month ago. I've since gained 4 lbs, and feel like my stomach can hold so much more now. Have I already ruined my sleeve? I am 1000% ready to re commit. Can any one share a similar experience?

    nomad,
It is pretty normal to have a slight regain. The real question is: what are you going to do about it? I regained 20 pounds at one point. I went back to Weight Watchers and got myself together. I need the accountability. Figure out what you need to get yourself back on track. Take out your sleeve bible and get back to basics by eating protein first. This is what maintenance is all about--it is definitely a learning curve. Figure out what you need to do and then do it!

Get right back on track to how you were taught to eat after being sleeved. 4 pounds is no big deal. Just do it now, before it's 10, 20, 30 or more.

The further out you get, the more you can eat. So you need to be more disciplined. At least that was the case for me. Losing all my weight was totally easy. Keeping off all my weight is not easy, but much easier than if I didn't have the sleeve as I still get full much sooner than before.

    Good luck, you've got this.

Yep, now is the time to do something about your eating habits - before it gets overwhelming.
As has been mentioned - back to basics.
Do you keep an account of your food intake? Do you weigh and measure your food?
I'm nearly 3 years out and I still do all of these. I also weigh myself every day so there are no big surprises.
It might not work for everyone but it is what I need to do to keep me on track.

Maintenance is when the hard work actually starts.
You can definitely do this! :-)

MINDFUL eating is always hard, especially when most people's life is a but out of the norm at the moment.

I track every day; weight & food. I try very hard not to let the numbers make me crazy. And as Kenson & Sharon, and Lisa said - STOP yourself at 4-5 lbs and go back to where you want to be.

Stress, lack of sleep, medications, not quite enough water -- all of these cause fluctuation. But "retaining food" is what we try to catch early.

    You've got this.
    [I]HW: 240 lbs SW: 199 lbs GW: 140 lbs

    1 MO = 167.0 2 MO = 156.4 3 MO = 148.4 4 MO = 140.6
    5 M) = 136.0 6 MO = 130.0
    1 YR = 122.0 2 YR = 140.00 2.5 YR = 139
Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!
