I had my surgery 3/16/20. I have been able to eat food but I am having trouble feeling full. It seams like I did not have surgery. My weight has stand stilled
Katay, you definitely had surgery! It's important to touch base with your nutritionist/doctors office and tell them what is exactly happening. I felt the restriction and ate small amounts of protein and soft foods at your stage but was hungry every 2 hours and thought that was abnormal. Is this is what is going on? I got reassurance from this group/forum that some people do have the hungry horrors more often than others during the stomach healing process. I went through multiple plateaus but they all worked out after a week or so when I kept to my doctors plan. The tool I found most useful going into 'the real food phase' was My Fitness Pal, this was a reality check and made sure I was at the calorie count my dietitian gave me. It also gave me accountability and control. Plus its free online. Don't panic but do touch base with your doctor to make sure everything is ok
Are you eating protein first, like meat, eggs or fish? That typically fills me up, and I'm over 6 years out. You should be feeling full at this point.
Maybe a call to your nutritionist for some advice.
Yes, the best option is to get in touch with a professional in this.
Hey, I have the same situation, I don't feel full and because of that I'm always looking for food
