Default During a time of great...a small challenge

Just want to let y'all know you are, as always, in my prayers, for health, safety & the ability to get through this rather difficult and unknown territory we are in around the world.

TEN Things I'm Grateful For Right Now. NO particular order

    1. My husband, who masks up, wears gloves & does our shopping with his container of antibacterial spray
    2. My sewing machine, to make masks for our friends & neighbors who have to go out because they are on their own.
    3. My naturally curly hair because I can use a headband in lieu of a haircut.
    4. My wonderful neighbors, who have always checked on us (we're older than most here) to be sure we are fed, watered and tended to.
    5. Hummingbirds are back.
    6. My kids (all 6 ) are healthy & safe, as are grandkids.
    7. Zoom, although I am not very good at setting up a meeting, but I can still see my family.
    8. Cooking; if one wasn't used to meal prep this would be a lot harder. Still baking for my husband, but maintaining my weight.
    9. My stationary bicycle (grudgingly grateful )
    10. My faith.

    Post your TEN grateful things!
    Hugs
    Annie

Hi Annie! This is a very important post. We have to be able to appreciate and be thankful for the things some of us overlook on a daily basis.

    1. I'm thankful that my family has their health, ESPECIALLY my stubborn 91 year old father!
    2. I'm thankful that i'm still able to get out and work. Bless those of you who are not working right now or have small businesses! I support all that I can right now.
    3. I'm thankful that I have a vegetable garden that I can work in to get exercise and eventually..fresh veggies
    4. I'm thankful and grateful for all of the Docs and Nurses that are on the front lines fighting the good fight.
    5. I'm thankful that I am able to reschedule my vacation that was supposed to take place April 23rd.
    6. i'm thankful for all of the brilliant scientists and researchers out there working day and night to create a vaccine for this doggone virus.
    7. I'm thankful for spring! Even with my allergies!
    8. I'm thankful for my health
    9. I'm thankful for my two critters---Phoebe my lil Shi tzu/poodle baby and Milo the crazy kitty
    10. I'm thankful to Annie for posting this thread. Now more than ever we need to reflect on the positive! Jump in folks!

It's nice to see everyone pitching in, donating money, helping out their neighbors and even strangers! I hope everyone takes the time to reflect on the situation, see the good even though there is tragedy. Love to all of you!

*to those of you that may have lost a family member, or a beloved friend or community member...my heart goes out to you*

I have so much to be grateful for:
    1. God, who has gotten me through hard times before, and will do it again. With my weight loss I've eliminated a risk factor if I get sick.
    2. My parents in heaven, who taught me so many important lessons.
    3. My husband who has been so supportive of me since we met when I was 15, but especially through my weight loss journey. He always cooks our rule of two, a lean protein and veggie. He has also lost enough weight to have to buy a whole new wardrobe. He will hike 7 miles with me and then go on a 30 or 40 mile bike ride.
    4. My three grown children and six amazing grandchildren from 3 to 12. So blessed to have FaceTime during this stay at home time. I talke to them daily.
    5. A nice home, no problem being stuck here.
    6. Financial security to retire at 60.
    7. Able to travel to see the world. So thrilled we went to CO 4 times this winter for 1 to 2 week trips. Skied, XC skied and snowshoed every day. Now that we are stuck at home I'm glad we went all out.
    8. Friends. Just had a 6 foot away happy hour with a couple in our neighborhood. And all the friends I've made here!!
    9. Kilimanjaro. Last August we did the climb and a safari. Bucket list!!
    10. Had to cancel two hiking trips for April and June, but know we will get to reschedule. Both trips provided a full refund, pretty classy. And Backroads gave me a free cute T-shirt!

    So many things....

    1. My lovely partner Dave who is having to put up with me for so many more hours of the day - and doesn't complain ;-)
    2. My family are all healthy and happy
    3. I have a nice warm comfortable home that it is no hardship to stay in
    4. I am in a much better place healthwise than before my surgery
    5. I still have a job - I'm able to work from home so at the moment all is ok
    6. We are still able to shop for food - including fresh vegetables and fruit
    8. The chance to slow down. To read more, crochet a blanket for our grandbaby that is arriving in August
    9. To appreciate our daily walk more - and to communicate with a friendly wave to the people that we see (albeit from the other side of the road)
10.We have a fabulous Prime Minister who has totally taken control of this ever evolving situation and has made decisions that have surely saved many
lives (we have only had one death related to Covid-19 so far in NZ)

The first one that comes to mind, is that I am gratefelul for my hubby.
Yesterday he has put up what little birthday decorations he could find, for my birthday.
    So sweet!
In February we were married for 45 years.
I count on getting in a lot more years together!
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

    I am grateful for:
    1. My health and fitness. Tomorrow is my 2 year sleeve anniversary and I feel like my old new self. So far have managed to maintain my current weight even though I haven't been gyming and have certainly eaten more unhealthily than normal.
    2. My wonderful husband, for his love and support.
    3. My husband and his colleagues for all their hard work on the front line of the NHS.
    4. My wonderful children.
    5. My dog for her undying love and complete loyalty.
    6. For my friends.
    7. For my sisters and their families.
8: That my parents and in laws are still around, all be it thousands of miles away from where I live.
    9. For zoom which has allowed me to keep in contact with my daughter who isn't with us while we isolate and having a passover seder with her and the family and extended family and friends.
    10. For all the love and support from everyone on this forum.
    Stay safe. xx
