Default 2 Years Since my Surgery

    Hello

Well, this journey of ours is truly life-changing.

I made it to my predicted goal of 60 KG in the first 11 months.

I have maintained that weight of 60 KG swinging down to 58 KG and up to 61 KG (sorry that is 127 lbs to 133)

I do weigh myself every day I do write everything down every day what I eat and what exercise I have done.

I also ring anything that alerts me that I have had and would not typically have such as a glass of Gin and Ginger Ale or bread.

I want to have these things when and if I want them but as a treat now and again instead of the daily routine.

I feel it keeps me in check with my head being in control of what I chose to eat and drink and why.

So I think I have indulged in trying everything that I want to have to eat or drink but I am also delighted that I enjoy my food more than I used to.

I put this down to having what I know is good tasting food packed with a balanced diet and variety.

I guess simply I eat beautiful food but a smaller portion of it.

I keep the 30-minute rule between drinking and eating and I drink lots of water and coffee which only allows a window for normal meal times I don't snack I prefer to have my water.

Therefore I run out of windows to ever think about a snack.

    But we are all different.

If you can offer any suggestions of things that you feel would help us all in our journey please do let me know.

I was asked about regain and I would love to hear from anyone who knows about this.

I would like to cover that topic but I really could do with some ideas from you all.

    Thanks in advance.

I keep the regain away by weighing myself daily. That way if it's up a little, I get right on it. I'd rather deal with a gain of a few pounds before they become 10, 20, or more.

    Two years is great, congratulations.

Regain (or maybe just normal fluctation is a better term) - I go up and down 2-4 lbs over about 6 weeks (yes, I track). Early on it panicked me - was I doomed to regain ALL of it. No.

I still have to remind myself I am not hungry (almost never since VGS)--I am often thirsty, and don't notice it. Or tired. Or bored. Keeping myself busy (retired) is usually easy, but some days I look for things to do rather than eat.

The gain, for me, seems to be more about missing sleep than over eating.
    [I]HW: 240 lbs SW: 199 lbs GW: 140 lbs

    1 MO = 167.0 2 MO = 156.4 3 MO = 148.4 4 MO = 140.6
    5 M) = 136.0 6 MO = 130.0
    1 YR = 122.0 2 YR = 140.00 2.5 YR = 139
Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!
