Thanks for introducing yourselves. Two weeks since my op and just started mashed food today. Can I ask how quick your weight came off?

Everyone is different so it can be somewhat misleading to compare yourself with others. Some lose quickly, others at a more steady rate. The important thing to remember is that any loss is a good one :-)
Having said all that I just looked back at my records and in the first 7 weeks post op I lost 20kg, at 10 weeks it was 24kg and at 20 weeks it was 35kg (in total). It took my 15 months to get to the weight I am now.

HI Sally, welcome to you as well. Did you get your sleeve privately or NHS? I had mine almost 2 years ago, privately done. This forum is great and has lots of advice. Good luck with your journey.

Hi elllie, I had my sleeve done privately. Right now my weight loss and slowed right down, almost stopped lol but I’m not worried as soon as I can start exercising I’m sure I will make more progress.

    Hi,
I am sure you are excited and curious to know how it may go for you.
Every one is different but in my personal case it was a kilo a day for the first 3werks. Then 2 week's I stayed the same then it started to go off 1 kilo here or there every couple of days then every week then it changed again.
All loss or stalls are part of it.
But it really is so much fun.

  20. Said thanks:
