I’m pre-surgery. I’ve been battling with the idea of having surgery, but I think this is going to be my last resort and a very helpful tool for me.

There are a lot of people on this forum who have been sleeved for various lengths of time, from 6 days (me) to 9+ years and people like yourself who are considering surgery. So any questions or advice you have there is always someone to help you.

Welcome Melissa! Great idea to check out this forum before making your decision. It’s a big decision and educating yourself is the right thing to do. As for me? I considered WLS for a couple of years before starting what was for me a an eight month process to get insurance approval. All of that thought made me confident in my decision to have the sleeve. Now I’m seven months post op and very happy with the decision. Good luck!

Hi and welcome

There are lots of great people here who are very happy to offer support and answer any questions that you may have.

For most of us surgery was a "last resort" after having tried every diet known to man - and some that are not ;-)
For me it is the best decision that I have ever made for myself.
