I've hit goal and maintained for awhile. The persistent issue I've had is really bad chest acne. Anyone else dealt with this and if so what did you do?
I had chest acne and even as a teen I had never experienced acne. I got myself to the dermatologist who said I had adult acne from a hormonal imbalance. He said weight loss and age (I was 59) could have caused my estrogen to drop, while my testosterone level remained the same. This resulted in me having acne in the places where men grow hair, chest, face, and back. I never got the facial or back acne. He treated me with the same medication they use for teen acne and after about 2 months it went away. I was about a little more than a year post op when I had the issue. The good thing about the medication was it made everything taste weird. Great for helping me lose those last few pounds.
If you've never experience acne or it's unexpected at this time in your life go see a dermatologist.
