RE: Mommy makeover, 7 years after sleeve procedure

The gastric sleeve procedure was one of the best decisions I've made. I'm considering a mommy makeover at 66 years old (breast lift, tummy tuck with muscle repair and light liposuction) I've gained about 15 pounds since my lowest weight and have been stable at this weight for about 4 years. it's so true that they operate on your stomach and not your head! The surgeons that I've consulted with didn't seem concerned about my BMI.

I'd appreciate any information that you could provide or experiences that you could share as a person who has undergone these procedures.

I haven't had the procedure, but from what I've read here, you need to be at your goal (whatever that is) for at least a year...I am guessing that translates into minimal yo-yo dieting.

I do know, if one has liposuction and regains weight, the weight doesn't go back where the liposuction was -- it goes to other places, like your neck, legs, arms, etc...
