    Default 3 months post op

    Hello everyone!
I am three months post op now and down 20 kg(44 lbs) including the Pre op diet. I just returned from a three week holiday to US and lost 2 kg on holiday for the first time in my life. Usually holiday meant weight gain for me. Not this time! I am very pleased with that, it represents breaking a lifelong cycle. I stuck to between 800-1000 calories walked minimum 10000 steps everyday and indulged in a glass of wine after dinner as it was Christmas holidays. Sometimes I fail to reach my protein goal and don’t drink enough water so I really need to work on that.

There is nothing I can’t eat really, pretty much tried everything . My heartburn is much better now and I am only taking 15mg lansoprazole a day.
I don’t feel deprived of anything and I have no regrets, if anyone is thinking of having this surgery I would say do it for yourself. It’s the best money I have spent in my life.
I still have a long way to go (another 45 lbs) but I am very hopeful that I will reach my goal. This forum is such an inspiration and I read other posts often when I get discouraged.
Hope 2020 brings health and happiness to all.
