    Default Grainy lentil soup

    Hi everyone!

    Hoping for your advice. I am in the middle of week 4 post Op (surgery date was Dec 16th). I started purée foods this week and made a lentil soup and puree’d it with my little tiny food processor... but despite over cooking the lentils, the purée came out super grainy with a little tiny specs of lentil skin. I only had a few table spoon (no more than 1/4 of cup) ... but now I’m super worried that the specs will get stuck in my internal stitching...they’re already stuck in my teeth!

    I’m kind of freaking out but I was told to contact my nurse only if something was wrong.

    I would love your thoughts and feedback!!

    Thank you all!

    Neda

    Hi Neda,
    As long as you were able to tolerate it without getting ill, you should be fine.

    You shouldn’t have any problems. I remember eating soft foods by that time.
    Your body will tell you what you can eat and tolerate.

    Agree - you should be okay. I like the fat free refried bean soup, and the skins weren't an issue with my stomach. And my stomach was very touchy.;

    So long as your body don't show any negative effect, i am sure you are fine.
