Default 10 more pounds to go!

I have 10 more pounds to go till I reach my goal! Seems like it's gonna take forever. The weight loss has really slowed down these past few weeks. Gonna try to up my exercise and water intake to get these last pounds off! Hope everyone has a good day!

I can SO relate. I have 13.5 to go (assuming I stay with my 125 pound goal) and am using the same strategy - upping the activity and water. I say “assuming” because my doctor is fine with 140, but I’m not. I’m only 5’3 and 140 is the very top weight to be considered healthy. I’m playing it by ear and will adjust depending on how i feel and look. I’m trying to get in 8 miles of walking a day plus an hour at the gym three times a week. I also golf 1-2 times a week. I’m dreading the gym after January 1 because I figure everyone and their brother will be there for a month or so until they fail at their new year resolutions. I’m hoping to be at my goal by the first of March.

Well done you are doing great. When was your surgery date? My rule of thumb is increase fluids and walking. Whenever I had a stall or now when I gain a couple lbs I increase fluids and walk more.. Good luck keep us posted.

Oh those last few pounds can be very frustrating can't they?
Have a look at your eating plan and make sure that you are eating the correct amounts by measuring/weighing food (it's easy to under/overestimate quantities). Keep a food diary (if you don't already) and/or use an online app to calculate your food intake - make sure that you are getting enough protein in. 2 years out I still do these things to keep myself in check. It's really easy to let things slide a little as time goes by.
Otherwise keep doing what you are doing. It took my 18 months to get to my happy weight.
    It will happen :-)
