    Default Hot chocolate

    Hi all,

I know a lot of people have low calorie hot chocolate like options. But i was bought a large tub of hotel chocolate hot chocolate. You make it with real milk but i think it is grated real chocolate.
Does anyone know if i would be able to drink this in the future, I'm only thinking about once a week.

    Thanks in advance

I would choose a lower calorie option, like tea or coffee, but that's just me. Do what works for you.

You will be able to eat and drink pretty much anything but you need to decide what is the best option for you.
Weight loss surgery is just that - surgery to help you lose weight. It's up to you to make the most of it and choose the best options for food and drink.
Personally I wouldn't go for hot chocolate. If I want a hot drink I choose tea - but it's entirely up to you.

Thanks both for the replies. I will see how i go with it once I'm further down the line. It would be a small cup so i would be happy to try it as long as it doesn't make me sick. I don't drink much else other than water and sugar free squash, maybe the odd tea. I don't drink any alcohol or fizzy drinks.

Oh my. Remember you are not ever giving up anything - you are learning MODERATION. For me, one cookie is quickly ALL the cookies, lol.

As to liquid calories, I really limit them as they are not physically satisfying like chewing real food. I do decaf (I'm an old lady), but instead of lovely high calorie flavors, and add my quite lovely to me protein shake in chocolate.

I find that low calorie hot chocolate on rare evenings is okay, but real milk has its own sugars as well as the chocolate sugar.

If you are going for optimum weight loss, for optimum health, you need to really honestly decide how much the chocolate means to you.

What if you got some lovely jars, and made up small gifts of the chocolate, with peppermint sticks & instructions? Then you have the pleasure of receiving your gift, sharing it, and being wonderful to yourself? Just a thought.

In my opinion, drinking from the same bathroom in which you wash is not a particularly good idea. I'm 100 percent sure they use special drugs and substances for the skin, so drinking them is probably a bad idea.
