I have surgery scheduled in 2 weeks. What are the best vitamins to start taking? Preferably ones that I can continue once I have the surgery..chewables or powder.

For my multi vitamin I have always taken ProCare Health Bariatric Multivitamins. One a day. Chewable for early on, and capsules for later. My nut insists I stay on them and don't get the over-the-counter ones, said they are specifically made for bariatric patients with more iron, etc. Order online.

For my Calcium Citrate + D I used Building Blocks chewables early on. Also online. Loved the orange. Now I just take the same thing from Walmart, not chewable. I think you'll have a difficult time finding a chewable Calcium Citrate over-the-counter.

My endocrinologist recommended bariatric fusion. Take one for times a day. Taste good. Can be bought on Amazon. Good luck with your surgery you’re in for an amazing ride.image.jpg
