Sleeve versus bypass

Hello my name is robin and I am going to have gastric sleeve surgery 12/19. My dr said I will do better with the bypass. But I want a sleeve. Anyone with this situation??

I'm sure your doctor knows more about why than we do. Ask him. If you don't agree, maybe see a different doctor for a second opinion. Sorry, but I don't know why they recommend some people for the bypass. In my support group the bypass people seem to have more to lose than the sleeve people, but I could be totally wrong with that observation. Keep researching. Good luck with your decision.
