    Welcome here!
I am glad everything went well.
Now there are just a few things for you to do: sip, walk, rest and repeat.
    That's it.
Rest as much as you can, you just had major surgery, so you need your sleep.
Walking helps with the gas pains.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

Sounds like things are moving smoothly for you, that's good news. Each day will get easier I promise. It's important to rest and get your protein and fluids in. You are in for a wonderful and exciting time. Congratulations and continued success!

Don't be sorry, I slept that whole first week! Every day will get better. By week 3 I was back to work feeling pretty normal. (Though I was the talk of the teacher's lounge on how little I ate. I miss those days.)

Well done and congratulations on your VSG. I had the drain taken out the same day hours later, the doctor yanked it out is what it felt like but the pain went away straight after. Take each day as is comes and you will do great.

Well done, and get all the rest you want and need. Healing happens with secretions that are going on while we sleep and rest. I did rest a great deal. But I am also older (65 at sleeve time). I've had 15 major surgeries (sleeve was not major to me) in 17 years, and have finally learned that it is not self-indulgent to rest & take care of yourself. The more you do early on, the better you are further out.

You will be amazed at how your recovery just catapaults into success and feeling healthier body, mind, and spirit.

Hope you are starting to feel better now. I did not have a drain. It is always weird to me that not everyone gets one.
