Default I'm back from traveling--Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

    Hi Everyone,
I returned from Malta and Italy last night. I had an amazing vacation. Both places were hot, hot, hot. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, I went on a GoT tour in Malta where Season 1 was filmed. So, I posted and asked for suggestions on what to eat on the plane, etc. for snacks and you guys came through. I took all suggestions and utilized them.

sraebaer said "you will walk so much." OMG! The GoT tour we walked at least 10-15 miles. Everyone's watch app said something different, so we aren't really sure how much we walked. When we got to Rome, we also did a tour of the Amalfi coast and that was over 12,000 steps for that day.
coopersmom said to purchase "100 calorie packs of almonds and cranberries." These snacks were a life saver for me on the plane and when we were out and about for the day. I also popped some popcorn and put it in a baggie.
Dutchie said for me to "order a meal from the airline." I ordered a low calorie meal and it wasn't half bad. This is something that I will continue to do. I also took your suggestion and threw some string cheese in my bag.

Of course I could not help myself and got on the scale. I'm about the same as when I left and that's a good thing. I was mindful of my eating, but with the sleeve, we can only eat so much. However, I enjoyed my pasta with lemon sauce, coffee gelato, and pizza. I also had some of the best salmon and grilled vegetables that I think I've ever eaten. Thank you all so much for the great suggestions. They really helped me out and allowed me to stay on track!

    Wow, that sounds so great!
You had a wonderful vacation, judging by your posting.
I am so happy for you things worked out okay.
You enjoy all these beautiful things so much more, when you are relaxed about everything else.
And now back to the daily treadmill of being home and work...
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

I was just wondering how your vacation was going, yay for you! It sounds like you had a blast. I'm jealous, but happy for you. I think it's even more amazing that you were able to spend all that time away and not gain weight. That is about as good as it gets. I hope you took some beautiful pics that you can share with us. I love living vicariously through all of the posters here and there are some people who are out on some amazing vacations. Being sleeved and being to function as a 'normal weight' person has really been life changing and I'm thankful for it.

Glad you're back safe and sound.

Welcome home, and well done! It's great when we find we can do it, regardless of the circumstances or things going on, good bad or otherwise.

I could use a vacation -- even though I'm retired, I'd like to go somewhere and leave me home, lol!

Such a great post! I'm always happy to read about successful and happy vacations! I always wanted to go to Malta!! almost got a job there last year...but at the end I didn't get it (got sick etc)

Plus since you just got back yesterday, you actually probably lost weight since after a flight the water retention can make you gain a few pounds. For me usually it's 3 or 4..and the longest flights (Paris/New Zealand) could even make me gain 6 or 8!!
    Anyway..
    Welcome back !!

Glad you had a great time!! When I went home to Italy for 3 weeks 2 years ago I gained 2 lbs but lost it as soon as I got back. I was really constipated. LOL. I ate everything I wanted but walked so much that it wasn't an issue.
