    Default Tomorrow is the day!

I am super nervous tomorrow is the for my surgery! I didnít realize I would have so many nerves about being put under! I am pretty sure it stems from me being the only living parent that my daughter has and she is 5. I even blanked out about what the doctor said to wear home. So any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. I must add I am so very excited though. I have been wanting to do this for years.

    Hi there

Being nervous is totally normal (especially in your circumstances) - try to continue to be excited too :-) Positivity goes a long way to being successful.

Comfortable loose clothing for the trip home.

I'm sure others will be along with some tips for you soon :-)

What Lisa said. Loose comfy clothes to wear home. I think is normal to be nervous. I was super excited and then got really nervous that morning waiting to get the surgery. Just remember the first few days may be rough but it gets a little bit easier and better each day. And in the end it will be totally worth it. I have no regrets except in that I wish I had done it sooner. Will be thinking about you tomorrow. Give us an update as soon as you are able to.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Sometimes I had to remind myself to just breathe...LOL

Loose, comfortable clothes and a pillow to hold against your stomach for the ride home gives comfort from the seatbelt.

Please keep us updated. All the best to you ;-)

Best of luck to you on your surgery, I'm sure everything will be fine. Being a little nervous is perfectly normal, it's major surgery. Each day will be better than the last, I promise. Rest, sip and walk is about all you'll do for a few days.

    Congrats!

Fantastic news - so glad that you are doing so well. You are back to work quickly but it's nice to get back to normal routines. I am now 4 weeks out from surgery and down two sizes in my jeans which feels so great!
    Well done!

Yay for you! I'm impressed you are back to work so soon. The first few days are pretty rough, but each day does get a little better and before long, you'll have trouble remembering it. You are doing a super job, wishing you continued success on your sleeve journey.
