First time here. This is my 1st gastric forum to join.
My name is Mike, I am 51 and have been approved for the sleeve. My date is Aug 23rd, I completed the preop paperwork this AM.
I'm looking forward to interacting with the group members, and reading the various posts.

Congrats on your decision to join the sleeved side and begin the journey to a healthier lifestyle.

August 23rd will be here before you know it. Feel free to ask any/all questions you may have. We’re here to share our experiences with you. If there’s a question we’re not able to answer, we’ll try to direct you to an answer. I read everything I could here and watched lots of YouTube videos pre-surgery.

You’re at the best site for information, encouragement and support. We have lots of fun, too ;-)

This is one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. My only regret is that I waited.

Welcome Mike. Such an exciting time. Make sure to take measurements and pictures before your surgery. And then start taking them again every 2 weeks so it can be a great visual of the amazing journey you are about to embark on. Sometimes when the scale stops your body is still changing.
