    Default Warm!

Today will be a day with over 40 degrees C., which is over 104 F.
I thought I would be able to cope with that heat better, once I would have lost my excess weight.
    But sadly, no.
I still can't stand the heat.
How is that for you all?
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

It has been really hot here in New Jersey for the past week. Today is supposed to be in the 80's with low humidity!

I go walk in my woods as soon as the sun comes up. it's still OK then, plus the woods is all shade. Or I'll go to the gym, but that is really a last resort for me.

We have certainly been enjoying Northern Wisconsin where it's been in the 70's all week. But that will end when we get home Sunday.

Temps over 100 happen regularly in Florida in the summer...plus the humidity makes it feel like you’re breathing through a snorkel.

We escape as much of the summer heat as possible...it’s when we do the most traveling.

I tolerate the heat better than I did pre VSG. However , I need to drink a lot more water. I seem to get dehydrated much faster.

My husband and I walk early in the morning, as soon as the sun comes up. After showering we get in the wind on motorcycles, preferably in the mountains where it’s cooler ;-)

Our NC summer has been brutal - in the mid to high 90sF with "tropical" humidity index, making it feel into the hundreds. It is like being hit with a wet sauna towel to be outside. And no, weight loss doesn't make it any better.

I doubt even life time skinnies do well with that sort of heat! Looking towards fall with great hope (except hurricane season lasts till October).

+43 C today! the ducks are all tired and hiding in the greens, my hisband has been watering them with the mist often.

The heat would be fine if I could drink enough...But I can't yet...so I stay mostly inside, went out at 9 AM when it was like 36° then after that mainly inside where it's like 26.

It's nothing, 3 years in Arizona was much hotter!
anyway, tomorrow it's supposed to rain..

When we get back home to Florida, we’ll be living the “Siesta Lifestyle”...

Walk and ride motorcycles in the morning, nap in the afternoon, walk and ride again in the evening until the sun goes down ;-)

    Sounds great Cyndi.
btw: I also love this avatar!
    You look fantastic!

    @Sandra: promises, promises...
Although friends of ours have torrential rainfall right now in the northern part of Spain.
Those thunderstorms are expected to go north, so first you will have them and then we will get them.
Make sure please, there is still enough water left for us, please?
(oops, be careful what you wish for... )

I am not drinking nearly enough.
So strange, under normal circumstances I can drink easily my quotum, but with this warm weather I don't feel like drinking at all.
    Not good...

Got some rain at 5.30 AM, patio was all wet, but by 6 since it was still hot, all water had evaporated...since its cloudless blue sky!
Ducks are more energetic this morning...we can tell the temperature will be much lower today!

I am splitting time between to southern states and it's been unbelievably hot in both places. Close to 100 degree temps. It's so hot you can hardly get outside. They are calling for a slight cool down this weekend low 90's lol.

    WHEW...

I sure am glad we’re in the Blue Ridge mountains right now.

I think I’ll talk my husband into staying here longer ;-)
