    Default 5 days post op!

I am 5 days post op. So for so good. I am wondering when this soreness is going to go away? Also when I attempt to pick up something off the floor I get shooting burning pain from my armpits to my chest. Anyone experience this?

Looks like gas pain. For the sleeve it was mainly located in my shoulder and back, got worth when I moved, for my stomach repair it was under my collarbones.

Took always around ten days to completely go away, to help, the best thing is to walk as much as possible, I would usually get up every hour or so, but don't push yourself, stop if tired.

    Don't worry, it's temporary!!
    Take care!

By two weeks I was feeling life myself again, went back to work then. I only remember feeling yucky for about a week. Takes a little time, just try to rest a lot and then sip and walk a little. You are on your way, enjoy!!

So good to hear from you Larman and glad things are going well. That sounds like trapped CO2 if it's shooting pain. I was 'sore' for about 2 or 3 weeks in my abdomen and back. Each day does get easier.

It's "uphill" from here on this amazing journey! Remember, it's important to keep sipping and don't be in a big hurry to move from one stage of eating to another, make sure you keep moving, sipping and resting in between!

    Continued success!

The more rest and walking and sipping the first week (yeah, I know how to do?) the better you feel. And I still cut myself some slack if I'm tired. I recheck my sleep, my hydration and then my protein....
