Just spell-check. I don't think sleever is a real word except in our world.

Hi Lorrie, I feel like at one week post-op I’m doing pretty well. I’m getting my 64 oz of fluids and my protein requirements done. I’m walking 30 minutes at 3mph daily, plus additional walking around the house and to the mailbox. It’s getting easier to drink. I can take bigger sips with no tightness as it goes down. My biggest (and really only) issue would be back pain on my right side just below my shoulder blade. A hiatal hernia was repaired during surgery so maybe the additional work with the diaphragm is what is behind the pain. My first follow up is on Wednesday. I am still pretty low energy and have been taking a long nap every day.

    Janny,
I’m happy to hear that you’re doing well. The pain might also be some trapped gas. I’m sure you’ll get more information on Wednesday from your Dr.

Your energy will improve...nap while you can!

Please keep us updated on your follow up ;-)
