    Default Lowest Weight in FOREVER

I weigh 133! I don't remember ever weighing 133. (Maybe high school?) I know I weighed 140 at my wedding 41 years ago. (Yes, I am OLD, but I don't feel old). I am totally pumped, want to weigh 130 to climb my mountain in August and know I can do 3 more pounds. I had maintained my goal weight of 140 for 5 years, and then started a little gain. Got on that right away.

Probably the main reason I needed to take my goal of 140 down is I've shrunk since surgery, less than an inch, but shrunk. At my current height 140 is the highest weight in the healthy BMI range. I needed some cushion!

Maintenance is not for wimps friends. Those of you losing, have fun! I really didn't have to be that careful during the losing phase, the weight just fell off. Not so anymore. Now it's a little work, but still fun and rewarding to see the results.

And if I hear one more time, "I had a friend who lost all her weight with surgery and then gained it all back," I will punch them. No way.

That where we are all different : during the loosing phase I had to be extra careful!! even a little extra carb could make me stall ...usually I had to stay under 50gr per day, which is low...
I think what made the huge difference recently for you is quitting the alcohol: because it does have an impact on glycemic action and insulin...
Did you have your Ac1 checked recently? I'm pretty sure it is lower now..

Anyway, biggest congrats on that new mile stone!!! : it means your diet is great and your level of exercise optimum to get there!!

Yep, cutting out the alcohol has helped with less empty calories, but I think the biggest thing it has helped is my digestive system.

I am so thrilled for you!
To me you are the living proof it cán be done.
    Regain is NOT inevitable.
We have to work on it, but it is totally possible to not regain.
    Congrats!

    And also to you Kenson.
    Good work,you go girl!
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

What a wonderful thing to read! Wow! 3 more. You're an example of the tool works -- if you work it! I'm s-l-o-w-l-y creeping back down. While I know 122 was way to thin for me, I also need a bit of a "buffer" where I can be up or down 1-2 either way. WW is working for me.

One good thing about maintenance, as long as you eat the right things and avoid empty calories, you are self-limiting in how much (unless you're having sliders).

HAPPY for you heading toward your goal, both Kilamanjaro and the weight! (And I was 5'5 4 years ago -- I get the annual prolia IV now)
    [I]HW: 240 lbs SW: 199 lbs GW: 140 lbs

    1 MO = 167.0 2 MO = 156.4 3 MO = 148.4 4 MO = 140.6
    5 M) = 136.0 6 MO = 130.0
    1 YR = 122.0 2 YR = 140.00 2.5 YR = 139
Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!
