Three weeks after surgery, could be a bit sooner, could be a bit later, a lot of people experience a stall in their weight loss.
That can happen for a lot of reasons, but mostly because your body is wondering what the heck you did and is saving all the food and liquids it can.
This will pass.
Don't worry, follow your surgeons rules and all will work out.
But now, how to work around it...
Don't weigh yourself until 5 or 6 weeks out.
Really!
Put the scales away.
You will get on the scales at your first doctors appointment after three weeks, but do not (not!) step on your own scale until a couple of weeks later.
Make someone hide the scales if necessary.
After 5 weeks you will be pleasantly surprised at the sight of that number and you will never know if and for how long you stalled.
Just follow the rules that were given to you and you will be fine.
Promise!
