This forum was/is a lifesaver for me. I don't personally know anyone who has had the surgery, except the strangers at my hospital support group. And I don't get much out of those meetings. I get more right here.

Larman, please know that we all support each other and that you're welcome to "vent, whine or complain" on this site, however; we were just trying to give it to you "straight" which is one of the reasons I've stuck around for over 8 years since surgery

I appreciate how you feel and just know this is a journey, some days easier than others, but nonetheless; it's a journey and a personal one as everyone is different. That being said, we all share the sweetness of success and share our thoughts, tips of the "trade" and just tell it like it is to others and I truly think that's what makes this site so different from some of the other online sites. There are savvy, smart and supportive people here who really care about their own success first & foremost and then the success of others! Hang in there and the "silver lining" will be your newly shaped tummy via the surgery You got this and it's a great thing to get!!!
