Glad your home! The anesthesia kicked my ass too to put it frankly. I felt super-exhausted and out-of-it for a good 5 days post-op. Just keep doing what your doing, PLUS walking and deep breathing. Each day gets a little better!

Seems like anything I do it’s like I’m using that muscle. Anyway doing well will see the doctor on Tuesday for an update.
That incision was my worst one. Got on my last nerve. I'm glad you are at home and doing well.

What a hell of a drug combo they gave me for anesthesia. Today I feel like I have all my bearings back. WOW. Anyway feeling a lot better just when sleeping I get this weird feeling in my stomach/chest like someone is choking me. I move around and it starts to feel better. But what a weird feeling it is. Oh the incision above my belly b, it seems like every move i make it hurts there. Walking/Talking and car ride bumps. Just wanna see if this is all norm and expected.

Sounds like you are doing great.
The first days are the most difficult.
All you can (and have to) do is sip, walk, sleep.
Every day it will get a little better, I promise.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

Yes, all those weird feelings are normal. You might get weird feelings on your sides too. Those are normal also. I was overly concerned about those. They made me nervous because I was googling but had never heard anyone talk about them.

Week one almost completed on liquids. Doing pretty decent, just looking to mix the flavors up more. Only so much water a person can drink without a mixup. Really enjoying beef bone broth, and just had wonton soup without wontons. Not really hunger, doing close to 62oz of fluids a day without any issues.

Sugar free Popsicles are your friend! Glad you are doing well otherwise. The near belly button incision is usually the one they pulled your stomach out through so that's why you feel it more, it's the larger one.

Congrats, it sounds like you're coming right along. You'll love moving towards the pureed stage and then soft foods. It's like heaven. LOL Hang in there.
