Quick update---
All going well over here. Down 24 lbs since surgery in 17 days from surgery. Incisions are almost all gone, one small scab on one of them.

Haven't had any pains to talk about, every once in a while I will have a small shock or something but nothing wild.

Really just keeping my head down and slowly waiting for time to pass (I hate wishing my time away) but really really antsy to getting back to a "new normal" life. Doc's diet has me on smoothies with fruit, bananas, and oatmeal until next Saturday.

Also looking forward to exercise to try and make sure I can not have too much excess skin.

Glad to hear that you are progressing well.
It won't be long until you are back eating "normal" food again.
Just be aware that something's may taste differently to pre surgery and you may find that there are some foods that your stomach doesn't like initially. Just try them again at a later date. Nearly 2 years out and I can't eat fresh salmon - which I love but doesn't love me anymore.
