Although not completely "mended", Kristi is going to be able to go back to work part time, 31 May. She has been able to at least get out of the house a couple of times for something other than doctors or physical therapy, which is good for the soul.
Her weight loss has been fine; she'll be able to post by herself in a few weeks, if her hands keep improving.
She is, despite all this and the truckloads of snow in SD this year, heading back to regular life.
