    Hang in there Mayra. It will get a little better each day. Just be sure to keep sipping frequently and the more you get up and walk the better it will be. I also used a heating pad on my stomach and pillows to get comfortable when I slept. You can take some Tylenol for the pain. Liquid is preferable.

    I think anyone who has any kind of surgery will have pain. It should get better every day. If it doesn't, call your surgeon's office.

    Everyone is SO different here, I was only on pain meds for a day. But I did sleep in a recliner that first week as it hurt to climb into my high bed.

    Try to sleep a lot, sip every waking moment to meet your liquid and protein goals, and walk a little. You are at the beginning of an amazing journey!
