Daily Meds after Surgery

Just wanted to update on this - all of my meds were continued after surgery without any changes. The evening of surgery, approximately 5 hours post-op, I took my pills (2 large capsules of cymbalta and 2 regular-sized tablets) with sips of water, spaced out one at a time, and was surprised to not have any issues. That is how I've continued to take my pills since the surgery and have not had any problems.

Overall, its been a smoother experience than I thought it would be. No nausea or vomiting at all (which I was really worried about). More tired than I expected, but I am only 5 days out. Still taking pain medicine - about a 1/2 pill 2 x day because sleeping is tricky (I'm a side-sleeper) and showering/ going for walks can be uncomfortable. I have absolutely NO regrets, wish I had done it sooner! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
