No, it absolutely won't work for everyone as we all have to find our own way that works. I've had to make adjustments, too as things change. It's not as easy to keep off as before, so I have to be a bit more diligent. I get grumpy when I know it's a salad only week, but I know I'll get my goodies on the weekend.
Srae, it was harder for me in March. It took about a month for me to buckle down and lose the weight I gained over my birthday weekend. Some days I just say screw it and ruin the whole day with garbage food at bedtime. I have to be super strict and make sure to take tylenol PM at bedtime (so I dont get up for snacks
) if I want to make sure to get it off. I'm extra motivated by a trip to Destin at the end of the month where I'm going to be in a bathing suit around tons of people. Also, you're a total WLS rockstar, and I admire your commitment to success.
I've said it before, but I swear cutting out carbs when you have surgery leads to never being able to have them again. I hear all the time of the people doing Atkins or similar and gaining it all back when they smell a carb. I never cut them out, so my body had to figure out how to adapt to losing with them. Obviously this is just my opinion and my experience.
