Update

Just wanted to give a quick update. I have been very blessed. I am 4 weeks post surgery and down 45 lbs.

I can’t thank the people on this forum enough for helping these last 4 weeks and giving suggestions and support. I have not really had any issues with the transitions in diet and food, so I feel very blessed by all the help and support.

Hope everyone is doing well and if there is anyone about to have the surgery or newly post surgery, please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. I am still new at this but wherever I can help I will be glad to.

Wow! 45 pounds is an incredible accomplishment in only 4 weeks! My surgery is 13 days away. Can't wait for my new life to begin!

You will do great. It’s a little unnerving before the surgery, especially not being sure what’s going to happen but trust me I think everyone goes thru that. I would say, follow the rules, stay hydrated (sip all day long) and it will be life changing.

Holy moly! You lost 45 lbs in a month!! That is awesome! Keep up the great work. And so glad to hear no issues with foods so far. I was pretty lucky as well. I love when others are having a great journey.

Woohoo and congratulations! It's so nice to hear from those who have been on at the same times. I really appreciate that the seasoned veterans still check in to offer advice and share stories.
