    Default Scale Victory!!!

My weight has been stalled for a couple of weeks & I was getting very discouraged, but this morning I weighed & I'm FINALLY out of the 200's!!! I weighed 199.6!!! I haven't been in the 190's for many years!!! Just wanted to encourage anyone who may be going through something similar. Thanks for letting me brag! Still have a long ways to go to reach my goal, but this was very encouraging to me this morn! Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Congratulations! Those plateaus are tough to sit with, but if you just do what you KNOW works for YOU those plateaus will drop away.

Lately I've been getting rid of a little regain (after three glorious months partying in NOLA this winter). For the last week and a half I'd been plateaued. This morning the scales finally dropped two pounds. Which is just what I would have predicted I've lost in the last week and a half, considering how much and what I've been eating and how much I've been exercising.

Patience really is a virtue and one that is absolutely critical during this process. After the initial few months of rapid weight loss post-op, for most of us slow and steady wins the race.

Still, it feels so good to see the results when they appear, eh?

    Consult: 235 lbs
My and doc's preop diet: 216 -19 lbs
    M1 postop 205 -30

    Congratulations, well done!

English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

Patience really is the key, but when you've been working so hard you want to see the results immediately! It is true "slow and steady when the race!"
