    Default Slowing down weight loss??

I don't have a surgery date yet. Right now I am on the 4 month pre-approval. I see the Dr or pa monthly and the nutritionist monthly as well. I started out with a lower bmi (41.5 or so). I have lost almost 20 lbs ( normally great news) I can only loose another 7 lbs or so and stay over the 40 bmi my insurance will cover. I worry I will loose to much in the next month or so. I've tried diets before and lost. I dropped to 200lbs, but never staied. I've always gained it back. I know I could just go back to how I was wafting. But I can't gain to much either, and I dont want to get back in the habits I had. Nutritionist said yesterday, hopefully surgery will be in July. I dont know about abnormalities, ive done all the bloodwork and other hopps I had to go thru, just have not seen the Dr. to go over them. Hopefully the pa will go over them on the 20th. ( last month he said the Dr would go over them this month, but things happen and my appointment got changed from seeing the Dr, to seeing the pa again).
My Dr/ nutritionist, they have me son Basicly the keto diet, high protein little to no carbs. So, what can I add, and help slow the diet without blowing it all together? I don't eat alot of veggies, we have been trying (hubby is doing the diet with me) any ideas?

I would call them and tell them you are afraid to loose any more right now, because of these insurance requirements.
    They will understand that.
And leave any advice up to them.
I would not risk being denied...
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

During my pre-op phase I lost enough weight to get close to being below the required BMI. I told the office and they felt that the insurance company would go with the original consultation weight as everyone expects to lose somewhat during the process. But they advised stopping the prep diet to keep me just over the required weight just in case insurance would want to deny me. It worked out in the end. If you’re worried, talk to the office staff, they have probably had this question before.

I was in the same boat. I could not get below a 40 BMI and started with a 41.8 BMI so I also had to be super careful. So basically I didn't try super hard to lose weight during my 6 months of supervised weight loss management. I was also not allowed to gain weight at all so it was a very precarious situation to be in. I monitored my weight super closely. I know that my insurance specifically would not approve if I fell under a 40 BMI. In how you can slow it down, maybe add a little more carbs to your diet without going overboard.
