    Default Oasis of Hope Hospital?

Oasis of Hope Hospital- reviews, advice for a gastric sleeve? BMI of 31. Do you stay in the hospital more nights here than at other places or what?

That is actually a very low BMI and unless you have comorbidities associated, our center wouldn't qualify you for surgery. Just saying...

You seem determined, even though you know you wouldn't qualify in the US. Don't you think they have a reason for their standards? Mine is a Center of Excellence and I think they know what they are doing.

I assume you've heard of the Superbug going around Mexican hospitals. Google it, it's very recent. Is it really worth risking your life to lose maybe 35 pounds? (I am a normal BMI, and would have a BMI of 31 if I gained 35 pounds). Now I'm not super skinny, just regular sized, 8's or 10's.

I would like to lose at least 50. I weigh 192, would love to get down to 135 though.

I do have high blood pressure, and quite certain of type 2 diabetes, not yet tested though.
