You know, my mom would secretly take the worst of pictures when I didn't realize she was taking pictures. I always hated it. I'd prefer to not have my mouth open, my hair brushed and truth be told, I probably would have never let her take a full body picture but now I'm glad she did. When I started this journey, I was going to wait a few months before I did my first picture but it seemed like I was changing sizes every 2 weeks. I felt it but I didn't see it so I took my first picture and was amazed. Looking in the mirror is different than looking at a picture of yourself. Your surgery is right around the corner... get some good before pictures so you can see your progress. Good luck to you!

I’m doing Great !!.... Getting a little stronger everyday. Doing cardio (walking) and today start some resistance training for my arms. Still not sure I want to lift anything moderately heavy just yet. I’m eating within the protein and water limits. I still drink at least one protein shake a day most of the time at breakfast.

I’ve got to make an appointment to see my primary care physician. I’m “DRAINED” and my wife is thinking it’s my BP MEDICINE. I’m still taking my original pre-surgery medicines and I think I maybe taking to much for my BP. I’m going to call and see if I can get an appointment tomorrow.

I weighed a little while ago (normally weigh in the mornings). But I been away from home past couple days and was curious. I’m down 31 lbs since I started the pre-op diet .. and I’m losing a little everyday it seems.. IM JUST WAITING ON THE 3 week STALL .. I’m sure it’s coming. I haven’t had any issues with anything so far.. my biggest change is my sleep pattern no matter what time I go to bed I’m awake between 0400-0430 daily.

I’m not going back to work till after my next scheduled appointment which is 04-30 which will be my one month post-op. I eating a lot of small meals 6-7 and drinking my water.. it’s just an all day adventure here trying to get all the water and food in .. I feel like if I’m not inside the 30 minutes before or after a meal I’m sipping water... and I mean 3 or 4 sips and I’m done for a few minutes.. I know a couple folks that’s had this procedure and the say I’m doing GREAT COMPARED to what they say they were doing at 3 weeks post op. Thanks for asking

You are doing amazing, as I knew you would! I hope they figure out what's got you drained. I'm sure it is because you are burning more calories than you are bringing in. Especially if you don't sit still. Alwaya praying for you!

Michelle, well done! You look wonderful and it sounds like you are feeling so much healthier! My weight came off quickly, for which I was grateful. It's scary going into maintenance, but so far so good!
