Thank you Annie, I really like these, one of my my culprits is on that list.
I noticed that one of my old habits (eating way too fast) found its way back to me.
I am one of those people who doesn't chew properly and I put the next bite in my mouth, before I even decently have swallowed the previous bite...

    This is really helpful!
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

    Pretty accurate!

Too bad on the plateau page, they forgot lack of sleep, new meds, or hormonal change (hello menopause!). Those are bad guys and they hide well their crimes!

Sometimes we all need that reminder. My favorite thing on the list is...."be honest with yourself"!!! So much yesssss to this. Most people lie to themselves about what is really going on. I think that is why most of us got fat to begin with!!! Thanks for sharing!

Just yesterday I saw a video of some one who regained.
She said that she was snacking a lot but "hey, it fits in my macro's"...
For me that is sometimes true as well...

Hey, lets confess here: what are the culprits of you all?

I think that a major issue, under-looked for sleevers is hypoglycemia.
And I think that eating snacks does increase the issue.

I mean, when we knew I had a hernia, I was told to have smaller meals and add snacks. I already was not eating much so I did try to decrease the size of each meal, but at some point I could feel that reflux also did make me hungry more often, so a snack was necessary.

And if I can identify that my regain is directly linked to my meds, and the inactivity for 5 months, I'm thinking that even if the calorie intake stay the same and under BMR, the meals plus snacks might not help with the hypoglycemia story...so since my stomach has been better for the past two weeks, I decided to cut on those snacks and I'll see how my theory is working...

Please let me know how that turns out Sandra.
I am thinking of cutting my snacks too.
I still call it my "six small meals", but to be honest, they are just snacks.
I also was told that eating six small meals is better for the sugar level throughout the day.
It is certainly better for my portion control.
With only three meals I don't eat enough and eating more during one meal is physically not possible.
My restriction is still there and I don't want to jeopardize that.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

I'm still at the point where I really don't get in meals. I drink 1 cup of fair life milk in the morning, my protein shake shortly after. I get 58 ounces of fluids before I eat supper at 5. Then after supper, I get my last 8 ounces. I struggle with snacking before bed.
