    Default I'm a newbie!

Hi everyone! Recently sleeved here. Was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I had cried years of happiness because I had realized I had finally done something for my heart that will actually help it, and is actually working. I'm still learning when I'm full and what is feels like, to stop when I feel it and have to remind myself I'm not wasting food, but taking care of my stomach which is something I'm not used to. Looking forward to learning what I can and getting to know others.

    Welcome! Love your positive attitude!

It's difficult to feel full when on liquids, but once you start solid food, you'll know it. It's so amazing to have a tool to keep us from overeating.

Looking forward to following your journey.

    Hi and welcome.
    So glad you are happy.
18 months out I am very grateful for the wonderful tool that I have. I decided to take control of my life and have the surgery and I haven't looked back for a second.
Each day will get better and better and before you know it your new "normal" will be just that - normal :-)
