    Default Hello Everyone

Hello everyone, I’m new here. I’m 10 months post op. I have lost 68 lbs since surgery and 114 total. I have been stalled for about 2 months. Has this happened to anyone else? How did you break your stall?

Absolutely! Your body needs time to adjust to all the weight loss. Give it time and keep up your plan. The weight loss does begin again.

    Welcome.
Stall are perfectly natural at any stage. Your body is going through a lot of changes.
Just reassess and make sure that you are hitting your fluid/protein/exercise targets and that no little bad habits are sneaking in and if all fine then the stall will pass. Sometimes measurements rather than scale comparison is a good idea.

Congrats on all that weight loss! You must be doing something right, just keep doing it.

Are you near goal? If so, maybe you are where your body wants to be. I basically lost, then stopped. Stayed there.

    Hi Fitchick,
I have been stalled for almost 8 months now. My surgeon suggested a pouch reset, so I started this morning. I will keep you posted and let you know if it works for me. Congratulations on your 68 pounds, that is awesome!

Breaking stalls can be hard for anyone and is different for everyone. I would suggest tracking and seeing where your calories come from. Then try possibly to up protein and lower carbs. See if that works. My body is definitely carb sensitive so when my weight goes up cutting carbs always helps me.
