Default What a Difference a Year Makes

These photos were taken roughly one year apart...same shoes, socks and shorts. I'm 6-7 months post-surgery. This is the first time I've really seen a side-by-side comparison, and it took my breath away. I can't wait to see what the next few months of continuing hard work bring!

    You look amazing!
How do you feel, physically, compared to that time?
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

I am SO much happier now. I had gotten to the point last year where I was no longer enjoying running. Even at my mid-heaviest (210-220), I still participated in road and trail racing with my friends. However, when I ballooned up to the 240's, I noticed I was really having problems and dreading races.

Since the surgery and the return of racing season (just finished trail season yesterday and am heading into road season) I have noticed a HUGE difference. I've dropped roughly 2 minutes off of my pace time, but more importantly, I don't feel like I'm about to die the whole time. And I feel much more "human" post-race as well. This surgery has absolutely changed my life.

    Congrats !!!..

Wow .. What an amazing transformation!

I have never heard of trail racing ? Before my weight exploded I loved 5Ks.

I so hope for the same type success you have demonstrated ...
