Default How long were you out of work when you got sleeves?

Hi all! I am currently working a desk job at my local hospital so my surgeon said I could go back after 1 week. I’m kind of scared that I won’t be ready after a week. To everyone who had it done how long were you down?

I took 2 weeks. This is what the surgeon suggested and I had leave that I was able to take.
I too have a desk job. I wouldn't have really wanted to go back after a week. I probably could have but I took the time to get to grips with how I was feeling and to get into the habit of getting in my protein and water. I was very tired the first week and when I wasn't sipping that water, getting in the protein shakes, or going for short walks, I was sleeping.
If you are able to I would suggest 2 weeks would be better.
After 2 weeks I was good to go. I was tired when I got home but it was certainly ok during the day.
I think you sort of have to trust your body and take your cue from how you are feeling.

2 weeks was perfect for me, I'm a teacher. (Or was, now I'm retired and substitute). I chose 2 weeks because more than that I would have had to go on disability. But I was totally fine. The first week I slept, the second week I adjusted to life as a sleeved person!
