So glad your mom is seeing what WLS should be like.

And I'm glad you're getting to FINALLY experience it after all your earlier travails.

    xoxoxo
Thank you! Yes mam, it has definitely been a long road for me. I am slowly taking my life. This surgery has opened up many things for me and I'm praying for many more GOOD things!

I'm not sure who you were asking but I will go ahead and answer that question... at first, I did. Sometimes, I will still put too much on my plate. I try to put less than I think I will eat because that's usually too much. It is definitely a learning process. It's funny because on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights, we eat at church. My kids have had to get my plate for a couple weeks because I was suffering from a MS relapse and couldn't walk very well. I had just taken my medicine so I had to wait to eat and one of the ladies in the kitchen came up to me and said "you want me to make you a plate of just meat?"... lol. They still put too much on my plate but I just end up bringing it home. Everyone has been very nice about it. I still struggle with wanting to eat when I'm bored. I'm going to counseling for it because I want this lifestyle change to last forever and a day.
