Unhappy 3 days ago had sleeve performed

3 days out, I have some pain, gas build up, Im having a hard time getting protein down. I know protein is important so I will keep making myself try and get it down.

    Hi there.
At only 3 days out don't be too hard on yourself. It's probably more important to keep hydrated at this stage so keep sipping that water. Walk as much as you can, rest when you can and generally be kind to yourself. It's all going to be fine :-)

I so remember that feeling... I felt like I was going to never hit my protein goal and my water intake goal in the same day just 8.5 weeks ago but I finally have. Definitely worry about your water intake first. At least for a few days. You definitely don't want to get dehydrated. Even if it just to the bathroom, walk. That's the best way to get the gas out. Take it easy. Don't do like I did (vacuuming the first week) because you will regret it. Rest and don't fret over your protein yet.

The first week is the worst. It will get easier. Just try to stay hydrated and keep sipping. It was quite some time before I was hitting both fluid and protein goals regularly. Congrats on your new sleeve!

Congrats on being sleeved! I never had a problem with protein or liquids (which count double, if your protein drink is 20 ounces that also counts toward your 20 ounces of liquid). Basically you just have to do it. Sip every waking moment. (Sleep a lot too!). You will feel so much better faster by meeting your protein and fluid goals..

I liked orange flavored Isopure diluted with a lot of ice. I couldn't tolerate the creamy stuff early on.

    Good luck!
