Just got approved!

Im so excited. I went to a seminar Wednesday and filled out some papers and they called me Friday and said my insurance will cover the surgery 100%! Im so excited because for one, Im low BMI and I thought I was going to have to pay out of pocket. This is just so exciting for me. Ill be so glad to get this weight off and Im praying it will help ease my depression. Thats really my question, has anyone been relieved of their depression after their sleeve surgery?

Depression is not cured by the sleeve. Although being sleeved will help you feel better about yourself. Congrats on getting approved at 100%. That is simply AMAZING!!! Wishing you a successful surgery and recovery!

Congrats. Now is a great time to see a therapist before your surgery and start getting help towards your depression. Like Christie says the sleeve won't fix it but it may give you bit more strength to get feeling better along the way good luck :-)

I can feel your excitement.

Wonderful I agree with Stacey and Christie, I don't know anything about how it might help you.

But boy I was unhappy before and cross with myself for not being in control of my weight which had a very big effect on how I moved in my personal life.

Gosh, it is like a ten-ton weight has been lifted off my mindset.

Congrats!! I was also approved through my insurance for the surgery. My date is scheduled for Jan 30th!!

I will probably get nervous closer to the date but right now i am feeling ok!!
