Welcome to the site! This site has been an excellent tool for me! I hope you enjoy it. When I did pureed foods, I did egg salad but fiber, chicken dip (pureed chicken breast chunks in a can cuz it has more protein in it, 8 ounces cream cheese & buffalo sauce or hot sauce)... then I portioned it up into 2 ounce cups. Scrambled eggs with queso cheese dip, fat free cottage cheese... if I think of anymore, I'll share them. I made a post a couple weeks ago with recipes in it. I think I titled it "Recipes", so you can look there to see what I've posted. I believe I only have 2 recipes up but I plan to add lots more. I experiment A LOT with food (which is how I fell in love with food in the first place) but now its low carb and high protein. Lol. Good luck! If you need anything, dont hesitate to ask!

Welcome Billie! Be active on here to get the most out of this site. The groups have very little to no activity and the main forums/blogs are where everyone posts. Happy to have you on board!!

Congrats on your surgery. I never pureed anything, I just ate softer food! I couldn't get my head round puree! Sounds like you're doing great :-)

Stacey I thought I was the only one who didn’t official purée. Lol

I didn't puree either. I did 2 dishes. Zuppa Toscana and chicken dip. I tossed them and just chewed it to death. Lol

Sorry, this doesn't help you but in Auckland there is a great business that specialises in pureed foods for all sorts of situations - including bariatric surgery. There may be one near you?
I was able to buy a selection of different meals that came in little pottles and actually tasted exactly like they were supposed to - fish pie, Bolognese, lamb casserole etc. There were a life saver after the continued sweetness of the Optifast preop diet. All I had to do was heat a little up in the microwave and I was away :-)
