    Smile Complications .X3

Good day, want to update you all on what’s been happening since my revision surgery on 11/16/18. I had two serious complications including Intestinal rupture and became septic and had to spend 4 days in ICU!!!!!!! Came close to dieing with surgery Number three. Still in the hospital on TPN feedings, NPO for another few months. Got all kinds of drains it’s been a really tough tough road but finally feel like I’m making some progress. I urge anyone considering the sleeve surgery to do so only if your medical history is without acid reflex, histal hernias, because just getting a revision when you develop problems again with hiatal hernia , acid reflex. It’s not that simple as going and getting a revision and it has huge huge risk that nearly killed me and caused a enormous amount of pain and suffering. It also put my family through a lot and it’s been very difficult for them to watch me go through all of this. Please before you have weight-loss surgery make sure you are ready and that your doctor does all of the different weight-loss regimen‘s so that Dr picks the right one for your history. I’m happy to try answer any questions you may have. 85E2D8A1-C5EA-453E-ACB4-A7F88E5CF3C9.jpegDFE4FA3D-ADA3-4CA5-8400-18A975060CCE.jpeg

Also, wanted to ask about the Code reflux. I'm having surgery soon and habe some reflux. It is controlled by medication. I also have a very small hiatal hernia I'm having repaired. Were your complications due to reflux?

Was your revision also done in Mexico?
I pray for a speedy recovery!
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

I’m #o strnstrongly recommend you go a different route with your history. I had acid reflux that was controlled by medicine and had a previous hiatal hernia repair with the nissan fundoplication wrap. 1.5 years the pressure that builds up from the sleeve makes reflux worse and you have a high chance at developing another hernia. by the time they did the revision to a bypass they found a hernia had pushed my sleeve into the chest cavity causing Afib and breathing problems. along with adhesions. Unfortunately you are at risk for similar issues. Sleeve not recommended for our histories. You should check the bypass. im so sorry for putting a damper on things. However id like to save you from going through what i went through. you can private message me and i can give you my number if you’d like to talk. My sleeve surgery wasn’t even 2 years ago.

I hope people with the same issues as you listen to your story! It's similar to Katrina's daughter's story where she couldn't stop vomiting and the doctors did not treat her properly, and she ended up with life-threatening problems. We all trust doctors, but they aren't always right.

    Do your research people.

    Feeling any better yet Tamera?
